Chart Builder is a tool for creating and exporting charts. It runs entirely in your browser. This policy explains, in plain terms, what happens to your data.

Data you enter

The chart data, titles, colors, and settings you create stay on your device. They are saved to your browser's localStorage so your work is still there when you return. They are never uploaded to a server.

Sharing links

When you use the “Share” feature, your chart configuration is encoded directly into the URL. Anyone you send that link to can see the chart it describes. Nothing is stored on our end — the link itself carries the data.

Exports

PNG, PDF, and SVG exports are generated locally in your browser and downloaded straight to your device. No copy is sent anywhere.

Cookies & tracking

Chart Builder does not set advertising cookies and does not track you across the web. The only browser storage it uses is the local theme preference and the saved chart described above.
